Aytollah Mesbah Yazdi:
The president of Imam Khomeini Institution, saying that obedience before God brings the man happiness and bliss, said that man’s plan for life should be prepared according to obedience before God.

RNA - Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, the president of Imam Khomeini Institute for Education and Research, in a session held in the office of the Supreme leader of the revolution, said, “Ethics is a highly applicable issue in the scientific discussions, and judgement over its goodness and badness is different from the canonical concept.”

He added, “in all non-religious schools of ethics, the value of ethics lies in the results that attained by the man or society in the present world, but it is different in the religious ethics. The moral values in Islam stand on much higher levels. Through reliance on the faith in God and following the religious orders and rules, one can attain eternal happiness and bliss.”

He said, “Man’s souls attains perfection through observing the principles of ethics. The moral values of Islam both consider the present and the other worlds, however they are much more focused on the other one.”

He continued, “Attaining benefits and interests or having fears of punishment are two main motivations of the men, nonetheless if the man reaches the perfect knowledge, he may attain content of the Heaven.”

Finally, Atatollah Mesbas Yazdi said, “In order to reach the happiness and bliss, the man should morally purify himself, obedience before God provides the man with happiness and bliss.”

He added, “Man’s plans for life should be devised according to obedience before God. God has truly favored the Iranian nation with acquaintance with Imam Khomeini, a true servant of God, who brought back the orders of Islam to the life arena of the society.”
