Director of the Islamic Seminaries of North Khorasan:‎
Rasa – Hujjat al-Islam Salari-Makki‎ said, “Jihadi seminarians and clerics in North Khorasan ‎province ‎have undertaken responsibility to rebuild fifty residential units damaged in the ‎recent floods in North Khorasan province.”‎

RNA – Speaking at a meeting of the symposium of seminarians organized to assist the ‎victims of the recent floods in Iran, Hujjat al-Islam Hojjat Salari-Makki, the director of the ‎Islamic Seminaries of North Khorasan province, presented a report on the activities of the ‎seminarians of North Khorasan province in the flood-hit areas and said, “During the current ‎Norouz [Iranian new year] holidays, ninety seminarians and clerics travelled to the flood-hit ‎areas ‎in five rounds to participate in the jihadi camp.”‎

The Iranian cleric stated that there are social and spiritual effects in the jihadi presence of ‎seminarians and clerics in the flood-hit areas and said, “The presence of the seminarians in ‎the flood-hit areas and their assistance to the people and condoling and reassuring them ‎would give people an appropriate morale and this renewed morale was completely evident.”‎

Referring to the presence of jihadi clerics across the country to help the flood victims, he ‎noted, “Due to divine grace, a great discussion of the seminary has been established in the ‎country which is an appropriate move to assist the flood victims and seminarians and clerics ‎have performed a worthy service in this regard.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Salari-Makki‎ referred to the undertaking of responsibility to rebuild some of ‎the residential units damaged by the flood by the seminarians and added, “The seminarians ‎and theological schools of North Khorasan ‎have undertaken responsibility to rebuild fifty ‎residential units in the flood-hit areas.”‎

His Eminence continued, “In this regard, the theological schools ‎and the jihadi groups ‎established by the seminarians and clerics of the North Khorasan ‎have announced that they ‎are prepared to rebuild fifty residential units destroyed in the flood in coordination with the ‎Imam Khomeyni Relief Foundation and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).”‎

Referring to the presence of seminarians in jihadi camps, Hujjat al-Islam Salari-Makki said ‎that a good atmosphere was established during this year’s Norouz holidays and adding, “The ‎seminarians had a great morale in helping the flood victims and on the other hand, harmony, ‎sympathy, sociability and exceptional love existed among cultural organizations and there ‎was an management involved in helping the flood victims and this morale was transmitted to ‎people.”‎

According to the latest records provided by the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), 70 ‎people have died in the flash floods that affected 1,889 cities, villages, and mountainous ‎roads in 31 provinces of Iran over the past weeks.‎

The army, the IRGC, voluntary groups and locals have all mobilized to provide relief aid to ‎the flood-hit areas.‎
